Fort River Early

Our first visit this spring to the refuge, around noon on a clear, sunny day--ideal for sweaters.  Not surprisingly there were practically no leaves, and virtually no birds. Enjoyable nonetheless--it was so good to get out.  The reserve's one-mile circuit is entirely wheel-chair accessible (as you may remember), and we saw a couple of them.   Another link for the refuge is here.
