"Golf Ball"

This "Golf Ball" is on the summit of Great Dun Fell, Cumbria, 840 metres above sea level. We think it might be for air traffic control. There was a single track road up to the top which was easy to walk on BUT very steep in places and we had to leave the car at 300M.

Having done this steep (for a townie) climb, can you imagine how I felt, finding that I had accidentally left my memory card in my laptop! I don't suppose anyone else would do that! Luckily The Friend had his camera with him and trusted me with it. (Then got caught out for the second time in a week trying to publish a blip with the wrong date - Id already had to correct my own camera when I joined Blipfoto!)
