Late Monarch Grub

Was out in the back garden late  this afternoon when a dear little fantail came right close to me. Went in and grabbed my camera and yes the pair of them went straight up into the tops and stayed there
So then was lucky to find these late monarch grubs , three of them. Do hope they get hatched before the colder weather gets too intense.
Have just watched a superb programme on The Duke of Edinburgh as he drove around Windsor and talked all about it.. Oh how sad I feel for the Queen they have been such stalwarts.
