Still .....

..... bitterly cold but I forced myself to go out for a walk and enjoyed it. 

The raspberry canes we'd ordered arrived today - T has planted some and leaving the rest to soak overnight before planting. I'm not sure how they will fare in the cold - we shall see. 

In addition to the beetroots and swedes I'll be growing in "my" vegetable bed, I am also researching veg that does well in containers.  Pak choi worked well last year and so will try that again. T will be focusing on potatoes as well as his strawberries and and blackcurrants. This reminds me that we still have some frozen strawberries in freezer -looking up recipes added to list.
