Renovation

When my Great Aunty Syl died many years ago now I inherited this glass cabinet from her. Sadly over the years it had become very faded and uninspiring, dark and dingy to look at.
Not wishing to get rid of it Mr U&L and I decided to renovate it, and this is the result!
We had to replace the back completely as an ancient attack of wood worm had left it falling apart. With the back removed we replaced the material lining it ( and lining the shelves) with new damask material. We also purchased new LED under shelf lighting.
It is so much more sturdy now, and a great new home to display some of my collection of 1930’s China.
