Seaside saunter
I wandered along the beach in Redcar having dropped B off to meet up with D. The tide was rushing in and I had to retreat several times to keep my feet dry. It was chilly but the light was beautiful and the waders and gulls were busy on the shoreline. The dunlin (or sanderling?) seemed to like standing on one leg at a time - no doubt they find the North Sea cold too.
