Maybe a bit past their best

but then... 
I walked around our orchard/wood and listened to the invisible birds. I spotted a jaw bone - no idea where it could have come from. Maybe dropped by a helicopter a while ago and carried away by a fox. They distribute the rabies vaccine to wild animals this way.
The white cat seems to have adopted us, plus there was a rather attractive entirely black one that was attempting to partake from the outside bowls. 
Tomorrow may be warm.
