New plate

Most of the time Jack and I just have white plates, cups etc. But every now and then we like to have patterned plates....just one of each, lots of different patterns. This is one of the plates.

Rain and cold most of the day. Yesterday evening we watched the old film of John Hurt playing Quentin Crisp, the Naked Civil Servant. It's years since I first watched it. I'd forgotten what a good film it is. So this evening we watched the film Van Gogh. John Hurt is narrator in the documentary. He goes through Van Gogh's adult life reading from many of his letters to his brother, his paintings and drawings illustrate the letters.
