Saturday: Garlic

Another beautiful day ...
We were planning on ordering curries from a new takeaway, MrD wondered if they'd be gluten free - I cooked up chicken curry for him, prawn curry for me - sorted!!
Whilst I was cutting some baby kale leaves to add to our curries noticed that the garlic I'd started off in individual pots were ready for a move - they're now in 3 very large pots, mulched with grass mowings and well watered. As a bonus I think there are a couple of poppies and Limnanthes (poached egg plant) in there too - the insects will enjoy them :-)
A few scabious seedlings from last year have made good sized plants, planted them in the raised garden and some cream narcissus and hesperis - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2311550199706684820 - all welcome by the insects.
A lazy afternoon of reading.
MrD had a day on his motorbike and was snowed on in mid-Wales, glad of a cup of tea to warm him up.
Temperature dropping as the sun sets, frost tonight and the gritters will out on the major roads.
Hope your weekend is relaxing and enjoyable x
Stay safe & healthy and happy everyone and warm and cosy :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
