The Dene
Today's excursion was a trip to the Botanics for a wander and a (very basic) picnic. Headed to Roseburn and then walked along the Water of Leith all the way there, arriving just in time for my 12.30pm pre-booked entry. Annoyingly the only ticket left (before 4pm) was for the East Gate, so that added a little bit on to my journey, as the path comes out very close to the West Gate. Never mind, it meant I covered a small section of the Water of Leith path that I haven't done before, between Arboretum Place and Canonmills.
My blip is of The Dene at Stockbridge, one of my favourite scenes along the way!
