Old garden

Just had to make this my journal entry today as finally, after about 30 years and three lockdowns, my garden became mine rather than a playground, football pitch or just abandoned from lack of time. This is what it looked like this morning and, let me tell you, there’s been a lot of work getting it to the lawn-laying stage. This time last year it was a huge tangled bramble patch and I’ve been chipping away since then - including a veg plot at the back - but the major clearance work has been done since this March. Today the lawn went down so I’ll blip that tomorrow. Super exciting!
