No. 8 wire

It is said that given a piece of number 8 wire, a kiwi can fix or make anything!

I gave Anton a roll of such wire (thanks hpx for supplying) and asked him to sculpt me something long and narrow that represented the Canterbury region. The idea was to photograph this to use as a banner for a conference website - the conference being held later this year.

This is Anton's #8 wire creation and my rather crap photo of it! The "sun" is a torch I found in our emergency cabinet as the lighting on our floor is horrible. Trying to photograph it was a bit of a nightmare.

Anton will pop this into photoshop, add a colourised background and make it look a bit better. In any case, it does not have to be perfect as the theme of the conference is "Kiwi Ingenuity".

I rather like that it is not perfect.
