Triffids

Well courgettes actually, but growing at an astonishing rate. A seed that was little more than a bump in the compost this morning had unfurled to a 2cm stalk by dinner time. Maybe overnight they’ll all grow legs and stage a house invasion. Juno will surely protect us, if she can bring herself to leave the soft cushion of teddies she’s been snoozing on most of the day.
