The Allseas 'Pioneering Spirit'

Parked mid-Forth to carry out a transfer

As viewed from my diningroom window.

This huge vessel (right of centre) is 382 metres long by 124 metres wide and 10 nautical miles away.
By comparison, in the foreground is a container ship 'Fiona' which is 184 metres long by 25 metres wide and 3 nautical miles away.
For further comparison, the foreground pigeon is, well, pigeon sized (actually 32-35 cm long and 25-30 cm tall)
I have been frustrated by hailstorms and 'Fiona' blocking my view of what was going on but eventually, wind and tide separated them for this blip.
To the right is the small island of Craigleith (distorted by mirage) 18 nautical miles away.
