Pond pets

Took my everyday winter bike in for service this morning. It’s going to be expensive, now in intensive care awaiting parts for the bicycle equivalent of a triple bypass. It is 4 years since it had anything more than new brake blocks. After that I drove to a local garden centre for some new pond plants to continue my pond refurb. And was pleased to get a few pond snails, including one ramshorn and what is possibly a great pond snail (photo). They were straight on the case, hoovering the pond liner; I just hope they keep off the new waterlily since it cost more than they did!
