ManCoCo

Izzy is in her new job now but we didn't want to give up on our Thursday coffee, so we met up this morning at our usual spot, ManCoCo, just at the earlier time of eight-thirty.

I'd never been to this coffee shop prior to lockdown, so I've only ever seen it in take away mode, with all the tables and chairs stacked against one wall. Regrettably, by the time normal service is resumed, Izzy will actually be working abroad.

Still, as I've said before, one of the silver linings of lockdown has been meeting people for a coffee and walk - not just a sit down - and today Izzy and I wandered around Manchester and the canals as usual. I'm really going to miss this when she goes.
