Winner!

Went over to Hambledon to watch the Grand National with Mum. Did an online bet before I left the house - and picked a couple of horses each way. I obviously chose Rachel Blackmore (Did you bet feminist? Asked my son) and one other, spent more than I meant to as the website was very fiddly,  I was rushing and I placed the same bet twice.  But in fact I got 1 and 3!  So they paid out £356! Must not let it become a habit but as I only bet on the National it is unlikely.  

I used to run a book with my friend at school and my grandfather loved his racing so maybe it’s lurking in me...
