Parklet

Top of Victoria Road is booming - cheap rents and the nearby entrance to Queens Park brings lots of takeaway food and coffee buyers.

A great wee place to sit is one of these new 'parklets', tiny spaces, simply made, beautifully tended. The planting boxes were full of spring bulbs, kale and herbs.

We sat in the sun with our freshly made burritos and watched the world go by.
