Ooops
Fun start to the day and a brief taste of normality.
While in the shower and carefully washing all "my bits", the catheter came out. The balloon at the end that normally holds it in place had deflated.
Phoned the Community Nurses and got voicemail, left a message. Had a call back from the messaging service, followed a little later by a call from the District Nurses.
Within an hour of my first call the Rapid Response Nurse had visited, fitted a new catheter and departed.
First Class service. She was younger and slimmer than Nurse Gladys Emmanuel but all District Nurses are Gladys Emmanuel to me!
Have a bit of catching up with uploading to do.
