Ashes to Ashes
Day Four (and final day) of the campervan experience
Highlight: Bonawe Iron Furnace (in the sun).
Lowlight: Crawling in 2nd gear through Callander village.
So here I am back in range of blip after four days on the west coast with the family in a campervan. We had excellent Easter weather and had some great experiences. This morning before breakfast I nashed up the nearby Beinn Lora (308m) above the campsite, we then drove to Bonawe to visit the Historic Iron Furnace. The image above shows the kids in one of the massive charcoal sheds with the boy doing what boys do. This afternoon was spent in what felt like one long line of holidaymakers stretching 100miles from Tyndrum to Edinburgh.
