Jack the Hack!

Last year, my daughter discovered that there was a hacking centre down the little lane opposite our house and we got her a session for her birthday. She had a brilliant time and hardly stopped talking about how much she’d loved her horse, Jack.

Fast-forward to this morning and she couldn’t believe it - it was Jack! Although the hacking centre takes good care of their horses, they’re not pets and once they reach a certain age they’re sold on, which is how he’s ended up - in semi-retirement - where my daughter has her riding lessons.

You can imagine how happy she was!
