Pied Kingfisher

Another lovely day that started with messages and phone calls for a certain birthday boy. The birthday e-card from I&S made us laugh out loud, thanks guys.

We breakfasted at the Manyane Centre before heading into the Pilanesberg reserve and had a grand day out although it was a bit of a scorcher.

The extras show some of our sightings (please excuse the slightly blurry ones), including a jackal wandering on the road. This little guy kept us busy for a while as he went searching for his supper. The two rhino that made their appearance as we were about to leave we're the cherry on top, sad that they have had to be dehorned.

Dinner, shampoo and birthday parcels finished off Arnie’s special day.
