Breakout

It was rather chilly but bright this morning so JJ and I strolled around the wood, where we spotted a Great Tit taking nesting material into a tree hole that was used by a Greater Spotted Woodpecker a couple of years ago.

I am always impressed the way leaves explode from their casings over a few days each Spring as if they know there are only a few weeks to soak up the sun.
