A moment in time

My dad passed away on Christmas Eve and today my mum suggested that I take a look through his belongings for a keepsake. 

I found this beautiful Seiko 7005-2000 1968 Automatic.  It doesn't currently work but I'll find somewhere to get it serviced/repaired. 

Very unusually I wasn't wearing a watch when I visited my mum this afternoon and take that as an omen (not to mention that I was born in 1968!)

Really pleased to take ownership of this and look forward to getting it working again
