Sandringham Main Gate

We only live about 15 miles from Sandringham so I thought I would go and see the gates, a focal point for the public when mourning royalty
This is just a portion of the flowers that have been left at the gate in memory of the Duke. Not only flowers, someone had left a Naval Officers hat, similar to the one my father wore, with a message, both protected in a see through plastic bag. I feel this is probably some ones treasured possession so leaving it here is very significant to them.
Although there were instructions for the public to keep away there was a steady stream of people with more flowers going to the gates. With Covid still around fortunately everyone was being very careful.
