Underneath the Apple Tree

Everything is ready to go at the allotment, although the cold weather has delayed things. This corner underneath the apple tree has a lovely collection of spring flowers. We always find it slightly galling that the annual inspections come in July or August when our plot is full of cropping vegetables, but the spring flowers are over, and there is invariably a comment about the lack of flowers.
