Peas in a Pod

A quiet quiet day after Danny and I stayed up waaaaay too late watching Line of Duty last night! Fun, but we paid for it today! 
I made some almond and orange macarons and a Tarte Tatin. I'm swapping 2 desserts for 2 skirts tomorrow. There's a new island group called the Barter Community...does what it says on the tin, so to speak! Had some lovely messages with the lady who requested homemade sweet treats in exchange for the skirts. 
Danny went off to church tonight - I was in charge of baths and hair washes in readiness for back to school tomorrow. Looking forward to getting back into our routines! 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Lovely family recipes passed down the generations. 
2) Photos of my Mom and Dad at my sister's house.
3) Asha and Nate getting on well today.
