Happy (Birth)Day!

So happy to go to Vendas Novas, with Ermelinda and Cecílio, to our old friend, Padre Luís's church. He even invited me to do the first reading - not done that for years! Here, the acolytes are filing out after him at the end.

And then we had lunch at his and Padre Mário's home (see extra). We took the food, as they had both been busy all morning, funerals and Masses.

Gratefuls:
- seeing old friends again; last time was my birthday in December
- being able to participate in church again

and, very importantly, 
- our granddaughter, Allegra's 5th birthday, happy, happy birthday, precious girl! First time we've not been with her, and that's so sad, but very grateful for the gift of her to our family, and that we have been with her for the other five (though a day late for her actual birth), racing from Croatia via Portugal and Santander.
