Spring?

Today was sunny but cold. 34 years ago today it was grey, windy and cold but as my wife and I were getting married we did not mind (much).

It was so cold this morning there was frost on the ground. Despite the low temperatures the blooms on the hyacinths and the tulips remain fresh. It was not warm enough for the flower heads on these tulips to open up despite the sunshine. They obviously knew hail/ snow was in the air, which it duly was.

After a lovely meal settled down to Line of Duty. Like most of the nation had to rewind to try and see what was in the second page of that document. But not enough given away as you’d expect. Whoever was behind the attack on the convoy has even greater organisational skills than those behind the vaccination programme to be able to set up that ambush in the available time. Still, it was dramatic.
