Exploring the old, discovering the new

We took Elbows’ Mum for a walk in Trent Park this afternoon. Despite living in the area all her life, we took her to a carpark she’d never known of before. We walked a path that she had no idea existed. We showed very views that startled her. We pointed to the old house, that she’s visited for over 80 years, and she didn’t recognise the angle.

Nice to keep her amused. After all, we were only just over a mile from her house. And it’s really really familiar to us.
