Only in Japan...

Found the strangest bar/restaurant this evening. Loosely decorated in the style of a surfer bar crossed with day of the dead tex-mex theme, serving Japanese food! The waiter, wearing shorts, brought us the recommended dishes of the day with a very drinkable red wine which helped us digest the more, shall we say unusual dishes!

As we were leaving the waiter gave us a hand written menu in English, he'd spent the evening painstakingly writing out for us. That should help us avoid the chicken cartilage next time ;) Oh, and as we say in certain parts of the UK the meal was 'cheap as chips!' I'll be back... if only for the tahitian dancers!
