Still life

I picked some dahlias and daisies and found they are hard to photograph due to different shapes and sizes so here is a side on .....up close and personal shot.

We had a quiet day at home. I wasn’t feeling 100% and sat doing the jigsaw for an hour or so. This afternoon I’ve done some gardening, digging out the old soil and remaining white pebbles from the front path area. Some days everything is hard work. Now I’ve cleared half the hedge and soil and pebbles. It takes time. Now for the fun part, adding home made compost and soil and doing some planting.

Our thermometer registered -1° overnight so I’m pleased I put my frost sensitive plants under shelter yesterday. Winter here we come.
