Rescue operation Govetts Leap

A major rescue mission with police and ambulance and helicopter was under way this afternoon at the  lookout.
We had just walked the Fairfax track and drove down and saw something big was underway. The police didn’t disclose what the situation was but we were in awe of the bravery of the chopper pilot circling so close to the cliffs searching for someone.
