Day 102/21. A lucky find today.

A visit to the coast for a walk, then headed off to Solent Airport (former Lee on the solent Airport).
Boultbee Aviation is based there, I think the only flight school in the world training Spitfire pilots. We were fortunate to see this one, SM520 landing and then taxiing past us to the ramp.
Spitfire SM520 was built in the Castle Bromwich factory in 1944 as single seat Mark H.F.IXe high level fighter. Not looking bad for 77 years old..... We were lucky to see her. See extra picture.
