Rock Follies .....

We headed over towards Grandtully this morning to do another Forestry Commission Walk . This one took us through mixed woodland and then to a top of hill with the remains of an iron age fort (extra) and series of cairns  or follies dating from the 1800s.  The reason why has been forgotten. 

This afternoon I caught up with admin for  the different  groups I volunteer with and this evening sees book group at which we will be discussing "A Thousand Ships" by Natalie Haynes. (amongst other things),

Rock Follies was also the name a wonderful TV series in the 70s about a group of female singers. I loved it at the time but suspect it will now seem very dated.
