Burlington Bullets

Full of doubt and baleful looks at the snow/rain/sleety stuff, not to mention the 3.5 degrees temperature, we set off for an open water swimming lesson. Kath the teacher was fabulously positive and encouraging, and most of us swam to the pole. I needed a bit of paddle board support, caused by a lack of fitness and confidence when I get too deep, but it was still hugely satisfying.

Now the rest of them are getting very excited about long swims...

Me and Amelia went for a trip around the newly opened charity shops this afternoon, it was great fun.
