And G spotted the date! Nice one.

So, today I  sat it out in The Mall for the first time in months; probably the first time this year! It hasn't changed much - still lots of vacant stores and only one outlet in the Food Court (Burger King).

I picked G up and we headed straight to the cemetery to put new flowers on my Dad's grave. I'm glad we prepared everything we needed yesterday. Again, it must be ages since we've been to the cemetery as the road access had changed and as there have been so many burials, the plot allocated is already full and the adjacent piece of land is now being used.

Asha (from church) said she wanted to meet up to chat about the 25th-anniversary celebrations that we've been talking about, so we drove down to Ibn Battuta Mall which is close to where she lives. Another place that we haven't been to for years!

Ibn Battuta (named after the famous Arab explorer) is a massive Mall which is built in five different architectural styles that reflect the places that the intrepid traveller visited. I was hoping to post a picture of the dome in Persia Court, but in the end, we chatted so long, we ran out of time. (G had a Zoom call).


I chose Pizza Express for lunch which is located in China Court. Asha and G posed for me before we said our goodbyes. Home for the rest of the afternoon and evening. :)
