Normal services have been resumed!

After record rainfall to mark the start of Autumn, the East coast seems to have settled back to a more familiar pattern of sunny days and small waves. The local dogs have been making up for lost time on the dog beach.

An added attraction over the last week has been a variety of activities associated with the Village Vibes festival. While the folks only went to one foodie event there were a range of things from movies in the park, art and yoga workshops to sand sculpture competitions. Most carried out in the open air. A taste of post Covid life perhaps.

Meanwhile 3000km away on the West Coast things are nothing near normal. A lovely little surfing town called Kalbarri was severely damaged by a tropical cyclone yesterday! Possibly one of the worse weather events they’ve ever had. Just a reminder of how vast our little country is!
