A beautiful blue sky day dawned this morning and despite not having done any Fell walking for months and not being ‘match fit’ we decided to do quite a long walk taking in two new Wainwrights . Long story short we were out for hours are absolutely shattered but added Blea Rigg and Thunacar to our list. Extra from our coffee stop.
We met a woman  practising for the BobGraham round and covering loads of fells today. She overtook us again later and thought we were doing well, she said if she’s still Fell walking at our age she would  be very pleased. Not sure how old she thought we were! Anyway, we’ll take it as a compliment.
