I Can See The Pub From Here
On my calendar, not the blip.
In theory, Scottish pubs and restaurants will begin opening in 2 weeks to serve drinks and meals outside, I think the same as in Wales, but England's began opening today - some at midnight this morning apparently! Much as I am looking forward to relaxing in the sun with a freshly poured draught IPA (not Castlemaine XXXX) , I don't expect to be at the front of the queue.
At least England going first will give us a heads up of any rising trends.. it's crazy...I wonder how long it will take to stop risk assessing anything we do, I wouldn't be surprised if it is 1-2 years for me, others, 1-2 minutes! We have our first rescheduled gig in August, we should have our 2nd jag by then, but will my head be ready?
Hmmm... I started typing just thinking about this view and OMG look what blip made me waffle on about, I'll go back to the view for now.
Which reminds me, on our walk up this hill, which has lots of nooks and crannies, we saw Arlo carrying what looked like the pelvis bone of a sheep around, then he came running at us with what looked like a thigh bone, attached to a shin bone, then a foot.... eek, OMG, how does that work... just bare bones, not flesh etc. Knowing he would want chased with it, our tactics were to run away out of sight and he dropped it and came back. I never want to see that again.... I thought bones were all connected by ligaments and gooey stuff... eugh. It's a field that was once a quarry, so impossible to see what is in it clearly without walking over it all!
