No Bugs Were Harmed In the Making of This Photo

It was already harmed. Found it on the back stoop. What a complicated thing it is!

Transplanted 2 six-packs of Early Girl tomatoes this morning. In spite of being a Monsanto product, this variety does the best in our climate. It's the earliest I've ever got them in the ground. I felt I had to buy them when the nursery had them in, rather than when I preferred to plant. The growers like to sell them individually in the more expensive 4 inch size, but that gets too pricey if you're really into tomatoes, so I have to snag the smaller ones whenever I can. Added little homemade greenhouses to keep them warm overnight when the fog's in.
