Woodpecker bench

Blairbuie woods, in the grounds of the former mental health hospital that sits derelict and half demolished.

Wonder why they couldn’t save it for housing or for anything really... that’s a big wonder.

This seat is so named because of the woodpeckers who come in spring to do their thing and can be seen from the bench. There weren’t any to be seen or heard yesterday.
