Fine specimen Tree

My brother in Law looked after the trees in the park as a labour of love for years. He lived directly opposite but is now in a home
He got me to go with him once years ago and photograph many of the special trees he had planted and this was his favourite for colour, So needing a blip tonight dashed down and snapped it
Humungous day left home at 9am and home at 6pm. Appointments etc then showed my Alaskan photos to the South Canterbury Alpine Club. They were most appreciative and especially of Butchart Gardens Spring and summer. My sister was there in Spring and I went a couple of months later in mid summer.
Big day tomorrow off with my friends inland to take the autumn colours
