LD 385 Half Mast

An unexpected return to the Scottish Parliament for a brief period this morning, as we had been recalled for a motion of condolence on the death of HRH the Duke of Edinburgh.

I came through late on Sunday and walked down to the Parliament early on Monday morning in brilliant sunshine, though it was cold.

My extra photos have some of the sights of that commute  (surely for the last time as an MSP) but my main photo shows the three flags outside the Parliament at half mast, which they apparently will be until after the funeral on Saturday though the pause in campaigning that started on Friday afternoon has now ceased,

It  will recur on Saturday until the minute's silence at the end of the funeral at 3.00pm.
