Hotel panorama

The last two days have been very busy and have rather precluded blipping. I've now finally backblipped for yesterday, but I was rather keener to share this brilliant panorama from the hotel bedroom, which caught me by surprise.

Yesterday and today were interesting. Yesterday, during the day, I spent some quality time with my colleague plotting, and then in the evening went out of town to a new higher education institution in the town of Kranj to give a lecture, to a very lively group of students. Today, we caught an early train to Zagreb, through gradually improving weather (see now picture in evening light), had a meeting at the UNHCR on topics of statelessness in the Western Balkans, and then a coffee with my old friend who has just been nominated to be the first Croatian judge at the Court of Justice. He's done some blipping, and I must persuade him to become the first CJEU blipper.... Or at least, so far as I know is the case.

Right. An old pal who had an early start from Florence has just woken up from her afternoon nap, so we must go and have a beer, before we gather with the colleagues here for tomorrow's workshop for dinner.
