The blue plpe.

It took me some time to solve the puzzle of the blue alkathene plpe.

This area of woodland is a considerable distance from any dwellings or farm buildings.
Eventually I discovered that it went to a meadow on the edge of the wood and with the aid of a small pump it was used to fill a cattle trough.

The blue sky has gone and the cloud cover helped to avoid another frost. But it is still colder than one would expect for mid April.
