Derelict Gate

We went for a short walk today - just under 3 miles- at Hetchell Wood as I wanted to see if the large bluebell area was blooming. Although there were quite a few flowers they weren’t fully open and there didn’t seem to be as many as in previous years. One to go back to perhaps.

Whilst wandering along the old (Leeds to Wetherby) railway line I spotted this old gate and posts. Looks as if it hasn’t been used in a long time.. and looks like the old undergrowth is the only thing holding it upright. A Derelict Sunday subject methinks  - thanks to Marlieske for hosting again.

I had a couple of extra excursions.. one trip  to the Post Office to despatch a parcel and the other trip was to the bottle bank. Yay.
