Looking up

Sometimes things just fall rather nicely into place.

There was work to do today, but the route took me to my favourite place to buy eggs and a sweet treat, (Cornquoy Bay Treats), then on past my favourite cafe (Sheila Fleet's) - which was open again - hooray!

In the gift shop, where you could quite easily choose one of each item displayed, I stocked up on beautiful cards for special people's birthdays.

Then to the cafe, where there was a vast selection of cakes, scones and biscuits. I settled on date and pear cake which was absolutely delicious. Again, one of each item would have been my preferred option but that was out of my price range and, to be reasonable, out of the question. And after all, that leaves plenty to look forward to, for the next visit.
