Unique, Iconic, Striking ... this is The Halifax Building on Trinity Road, Halifax.  
Built as the new head office for the Halifax Building Society it was opened by the Queen in 1974. 

It is now the headquarters of the  'Halifax' - part of the Lloyds Banking Group.

It is Grade II listed.
