We did a longer than intended bike ride this afternoon, as the route we'd planned had a road closed. No big deal normally, but of course there were no diversion signs, we'd not taken a map, and my bike computer had decided to stop working half an hour beforehand.
On the way back I just managed to catch this heron before it flew off.

Extra: I went to my wigmaker's appointment, and was pleased to note there were only two other customers in the queue.
